How it works

Three moves. The law does the rest.

01

Upload the report. Watch it parse.

Drop in the PDF from AnnualCreditReport.com — it's free, and tri-merge reports cover all three bureaus. Every account, balance, and status is extracted in about a minute, negative items flagged.

02

Dispute with the statute attached.

Pick the accounts, pick the grounds — not mine, wrong balance, re-aged, never validated — and ScoreWipe writes a letter citing FCRA §609, §611, or §623 by name. Send it certified from the app.

…under 15 U.S.C. §1681i you are required to conduct a reasonable reinvestigation within 30 days. Absent verification, this item must be deleted…

03

Hold them to the 30 days.

The bureau's clock starts at delivery. ScoreWipe tracks it, reminds you before it runs out, and compares your next report to prove what was deleted, updated — or ignored, which is a violation with its own letter.

The price, compared

Credit repair companies charge $70–$140 a month to send letters. Your letters.

Plus a $69–$149 “enrollment fee,” on contracts designed to run for months. The letters they send are the same disputes the law already lets you make yourself.

ScoreWipe is $24 a month, cancel anytime — and the first week is free. The results belong to the law, not to a monthly retainer.

Fair questions

Asked before. Answered straight.

More in the full FAQ, or write to help@scorewipe.com. A person answers.

Is disputing my own credit report legal?

It's more than legal — it's a federal right. The Fair Credit Reporting Act exists so you can challenge anything inaccurate, incomplete, or unverifiable. ScoreWipe just does the paperwork properly.

Can accurate items be removed?

No, and anyone who promises that is selling something illegal. What can be removed: errors, items past the 7-year limit, unvalidated debts, duplicates, and accounts that can't survive reinvestigation. That covers more than most people think.

How is this different from Credit Karma?

Monitoring apps show you the problem. ScoreWipe is the instrument for fixing it: parsed reports, statute-cited letters, certified mail, deadline tracking, and before/after comparison.

Will disputing hurt my score?

Filing a dispute does not lower your score. Removing negative items generally helps it. The one caution: dispute in focused batches — we recommend three accounts at a time — so bureaus can't dismiss the letter as frivolous.

What happens to my report after I upload it?

Encrypted, parsed, used only for your disputes, deleted when you say so. Never sold, never shared with lenders or bureaus.
